Summary: You can delete your Moontales account and associated data either in the app (if your version supports it) or by emailing our support team. A parent or legal guardian may also request deletion of a child’s information tied to the account.

Option A — Delete your account in the app (recommended, if available)

If your version of Moontales includes in-app deletion, follow these steps:

  1. Open Moontales
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Tap AccountDelete Account
  4. Confirm deletion when prompted
Note: Some older versions may not show this option yet. If you don’t see it, use Option B below.

Option B — Request deletion by email

Email us at support@moontales.app from the email address associated with your Moontales account.

What data is deleted?

When your deletion request is completed, we delete or anonymize personal data associated with your account. This may include:

Retention: We aim to complete deletion within 30 days. Limited information may be retained where required by law (e.g., legal compliance), for accounting, or for fraud-prevention and security purposes.

Subscriptions (Important)

Deleting your Moontales account does not automatically cancel your Apple subscription.

To cancel, go to: iOS SettingsApple IDSubscriptionsMoontalesCancel Subscription.

If you delete the app or your account, your subscription can still remain active until you cancel it in Apple Subscriptions.

Personal Voice deletion

If you enabled Personal Voice (Plus/Premium), you can delete it anytime inside the app in SettingsPersonal Voice (or the Personal Voice section of Settings, depending on your version).

Deleting it removes the stored voice ID from your account. You may need to record again if you want to recreate a Personal Voice in the future.
