These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Moontales (the "Service"). Moontales is designed for children ages 0-11 and is intended to be used with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
The Service is designed for children ages 0-11. A parent or legal guardian must manage account creation, purchases, and any feature that involves submitting personal information, photos, or voice recordings. If you are a child, you may use the Service only with the involvement of your parent or legal guardian.
If you provide information or upload content about someone else, you confirm that you have the legal right and consent to do so.
You may use the Service as a guest or by signing in (Apple Sign-In or email/password where available). You are responsible for:

Moontales provides story creation/playback and optional narration features. Features may change over time. We may update or discontinue parts of the Service at any time.
If you purchase a subscription via Apple:

Personal Voice is optional (Plus/Premium) and should be created only from the voice of a parent, legal guardian, or another adult narrator you have permission to use.

Warning: Any attempt to generate inappropriate content involving children, or uploading photos of children without proper authority, is strictly prohibited and may be reported to relevant authorities where required by law.

Your rights: You retain ownership of your content. By uploading, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to use your content solely to:
Uploaded photos are stored in private cloud storage and used only to generate the personalized illustrations you request, until you remove them.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to all content you upload (including photos of children where applicable).
We do not use third-party analytics, third-party advertising, or cross-app tracking in the children’s version of the Service. We may keep limited first-party operational records that are necessary for security, reliability, subscription validation, and abuse prevention. See the Privacy Policy for details.
The Service (software, design, branding) is owned by us or our licensors. You receive a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.
Stories, illustrations, and narrations may be generated automatically by AI (including Google/Gemini for text and images, and Google TTS or ElevenLabs for voice).

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation to the maximum extent permitted by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in that case, the limits apply to the fullest extent permitted.
We may update these Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date and may provide notice in the app.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your jurisdiction.
