Moontales is a story creation app designed for children ages 0-11. It is built for parent-guided reading, listening, and storytime.

1. Open the app and tap Create Story
2. Enter your idea
3. Select options such as language (and other preferences if available)
4. Wait a moment while the story is generated
5. Start reading or listening

Yes — you can use Moontales in guest mode. Some features (like syncing across devices, saving a library across devices, or subscriptions) require signing in. A parent or legal guardian should manage sign-in, purchases, and optional uploads for a child.

Moontales offers Basic, Plus, and Premium plans. Availability and limits can vary by region and may change over time. You can always see the current options, pricing, and billing period inside the app and in the Apple App Store.

Subscriptions are managed by Apple.

• Open iOS Settings
• Tap your Apple ID (top of the screen)
• Tap Subscriptions → Moontales → Cancel Subscription

Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period.

Try:

• Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID used to purchase
• In the app, go to Settings → Restore Purchases
• Close and reopen the app

Refunds are handled by Apple. Please request a refund through Apple’s purchase history or Apple Support. If something is broken inside the app, email us and we’ll help.

Personal Voice lets you narrate stories using a voice model created from a short voice sample (for example, a parent, guardian, or narrator voice).

If you choose to use Personal Voice, your voice recording is processed by ElevenLabs to create a voice model. We do not store the raw audio recording on our servers — we store only a voice ID so you can reuse the feature without re-recording.

Yes. You can delete it anytime in the app in Settings → Personal Voice. After deletion, you’ll need to record again to recreate it.

We collect the minimum information needed to run the app, such as account details (if you sign in), story progress (opened/completed/last page), library state (saved stories), and subscription status. We do not use third-party analytics, third-party advertising, or cross-app tracking in Moontales. We do not sell personal information for advertising.

Yes, we use trusted providers to operate the Service — for example:

• Apple for sign-in and in-app subscriptions
• AWS for secure cloud hosting and storage
• ElevenLabs for Personal Voice processing (optional)

Yes (optional). If you enable Face Upload, we store the uploaded photo in private cloud storage (not publicly accessible) and use it only to generate the personalized illustrations you request. You can remove it anytime in Settings → Face Upload. You must only upload photos you own or have permission to use. For a child profile, the upload should be handled by a parent/legal guardian or another authorized adult.

For convenience, the app may keep a local copy on your device so it can be displayed without downloading each time. You can remove the uploaded photo from Moontales in Settings → Face Upload.

If your version includes it, you can delete your account in Settings → Account → Delete Account. You can also request account deletion by emailing support@moontales.app from the email address associated with your account. A parent or legal guardian can also contact us to request deletion of a child’s information. We aim to complete deletion within 30 days, except where limited retention is required for legal or fraud-prevention reasons.

Generation usually takes under a minute, but can vary. Try:

• Check your internet connection
• Close and reopen the app
• Try again later if services are busy

• Turn up device volume and disable silent mode
• Try headphones
• Check if other apps can play audio
